Most health platforms are built by technologists. Outlive was built by a doctor.
Jack Ogden spent years in clinical practice watching patients present with health problems that blood markers had been signalling for months or years before symptoms appeared. Problems that could have been caught, understood and addressed long before they became serious.
The NHS is not designed for that kind of proactive monitoring. And the available alternatives were either too expensive, too impractical, or gave people results without helping them understand what to do with them.
So Jack, along with Sunjay and Jem, built Outlive.
All Outlive blood tests are processed by UKAS-accredited laboratories. All results are reviewed by a registered UK GP before being released to the member. Every result reviewed by a registered UK GP. Human clinical interpretation, every time.
• UKAS-accredited laboratory partners
• All results reviewed by a registered UK GP before release
• Data handled in compliance with UK data protection law and NHS standards
• Every result reviewed by a registered UK GP. Human clinical interpretation, every time.
Outlive is not a replacement for your GP. It is not a diagnostic service. It does not treat illness.
What it does is give you a clearer, more complete, more current picture of your health than most people have access to. So that when you do see your GP, you arrive informed. And so that you can take meaningful action on the things you can change, before they become problems you cannot.
Every set of results is reviewed by Dr Jack Ogden MBChB, BSc, LLM, IBLM, MRCGP, Outlive’s co-founder and lead GP, or a qualified GP working under his clinical oversight.
Outlive operates in compliance with UK health regulations. Our laboratory partners hold UKAS accreditation. Our GP review is provided by a registered practitioner on the GMC register.
No. Outlive complements your NHS care. If your results indicate something that requires clinical attention, your Outlive GP will advise you to follow up with your NHS GP or appropriate specialist.
Your data is stored securely and is accessible only to you and your reviewing GP. All data handling complies with UK GDPR and NHS data standards. We do not sell your data to third parties.
